St. Anthony Girls, Boys JV Win Golf Matches

ROBINSON -- Effingham St Anthony captured a three-team girls high school golf victory Thursday at Oak Glen Golf Course while the junior varsity boys squad also was a winner.

The Bulldogs scored a total of 196 followed by Oblong 222 and Robinson 226 in the girls match.

St. Anthony's Adria Moberly was medalist for the event with a 44. Also scoring for the Bulldogs were Tesa Ludwig 47, Gianna Frisbie 48 and Lucy Bierman 57. Lauren Myers tallied a 60.

Scoring for Oblong were Emily Rachoy 48, Makenzie McDaniers 52, Daylen Beckers 54 and Kerry Burton 68. Non-counting was Lyla Bickers 70.

Robinson was led by Abby Rich 54, Leah Correll 55, Zoe Tuttle 56 and Mya Wright 61. Nata Richards had a 62.

In junior varsity boys play, the Bulldogs scored a 159 followed by Oblong 167 and Robinson 180.

Oblong's Riley Blank was  medalist with a 37 while St. Anthony's Ethan Karolewicz was a stroke behind at 38.

Also scoring for St. Anthony were Manaye Mossman 39, Joey C. Trupiano 39 and Andrew Meyer 42. Others participating were Alec Hakman 47 and Jameson McAllaster 48.

Scoring for Oblong along with Blank were Brody Beabout 39, Brock Niblit 45 and Carson Musgrave 46. Non-counters were Bentley Cook 47 and Cole Littlejohn 48.

Robinson was led by Mason Arnone 40, Zach Chamblin 43, Layton Crumrin 48 and Ben Coonce 49. Non-counters were Reese Baker 55 and Collin Zehner 64.
