Tuesday 9/12 Results

The Effingham Hearts won a four-school meet at Taylorville Tuesday, having to go to the fifth card to decide the winner.

Effingham and Mt. Zion tied at 168, with Cannon Bockhorn 39, Max Seachrist 40, Brody Boehm 44, and Jude Traub 45. Effingham won with Evan Pryor's 46. Jack Poe shot a 52 for the Hearts.

The team results: Effingham 168, Mt. Zion 168, Shelbyville 198, Taylorville 205.

Teutopolis won a dual match at Pana 158 to 220. 

Teutopolis' Hayden Jansen was medalist with a 37. Also for the Shoes: Coen Pennington and Isaac Weber each a 40, Ethan and Brody Thoele each a 41, Hayden Tebbe 42, Owen Kremer 43, Kole Ohnesorge and Landyn Thoele each a 45, Dylan O'Brien and Noah Koester each a 48, and Drew Hoene 49.

Teutopolis improved to 11-2 on the season.

In girls action, St. Anthony won a dual over St. Thomas More at Effingham Country Club 182 to 214.

For St. Anthony: Addie Krouse 43, Gianna Frisbie 44, Sydney Kibler 46, and Mia Schwing and Brooklyn Phillips each a 49. Coach Morgan Briggerman said, "Not the scores I was hoping for, but the greens were just aerated. This was not easy to play with, but we got the job done!"
