Bulldogs Place Four Golfers In Top 10 To Win Robinson Invitational

ROBINSON -- Effingham St. Anthony placed four golfers in the top 10 to win the championship of the Robinson Boys Golf Invitational Monday at Quail Creek Country Club.

Joey Trupiano captured second place with a 74 while Dakota Flaig was third with 77, Lane Ludwig finished sixth with 78 and Charlie Wegman was seventh with 79.

The Bulldogs tallied 308 followed by Teutopolis 317, Olney (Richland County) 331, Mount Carmel 341, Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg 366, Lawrenceville 367, Oblong 370, Robinson 371, Paris 374, Marshall 382 and Altamont 430.

Mount Carmel's Kollin Kelsey finished as medalist with a 73.

T-town's Coen Pennington placed fifth with a 78 and Hayden Tebbe was ninth with a 79. The team score was the lowest in school history for the Wooden Shoes.

Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg's Nathaniel Gracey led his team with an 89.

Altamont's Daniel McCammon tallied a 106 to lead the Indians.
