The 16th Annual Chris Thies Sr. Veterans Day Golf Scramble will be held Friday, November 11 at 11:11 a.m. at Foreway Golf Course.

The outing has been named after the late Chris Thies Sr. Proceeds will be donated to the Effingham County Veterans Memorial.

Over the years, $22,000 has been raised.
