EHS Captures Sixth At Taylorville Golf Invite

TAYLORVILLE -- Effingham High School captured sixth place at the Taylorville Boys Golf Invitational Thursday.

Williamsville won the event with a 313 score followed by Mattoon 314, Jacksonville 326, Charleston 330, Mount Zion 334, Efifngham 363, Lincoln 375, Hillsboro 395, Carlinville 396, Danville 427, Greenview 478 and Taylorville 577.

Medalist honors went to Mattoon's Stewart Druin with a 71.

Competing for the Hearts were David Splechter 11th with an 82, Colby Haynes 15th with an 83, Rayden Schneider 40th with a 99, Brody Boehm 41st with a 99, Cannon Bockhorn 43rd with a 102 and Blayne Pals 48th with 106.
