Woods Begins Readying For PGA Championship

Tigers Woods arrived at Southern Hills Country Club in Oklahoma Sunday to begin readying for the PGA Championship that begins later this week, and he said he’s doing better than at the Masters last month.

He told reporters, “I’ve gotten a lot stronger since the Masters. . . . Everything is better.”

Woods is recovering from a February 2021 car crash in which his right leg was severely injured. He struggled with his leg as the Masters went on, in his first official event since the crash.
