John A. Logan Wins Women's NJCAA Region 24 Title; Effingham's Collier on the Squad

John A. Logan Community College has won the NJCAA Region 24 women's golf title and qualified for national competition. Effingham's Kennedy Collier is among the team members.
The Region 24 tournament was played Monday at Effingham Country Club.
John A. Logan won with a total to par gross score of +153, +82 in the first round and +71 in the second round.
Collier, the daughter of John and Carrie Collier and an Effingham High School graduate, had a +20 in her first round and a +21 in her second round. She made the All-Region Team.
National competition is set for Orlando, Florida, with play scheduled for the week of May 9th.
