T-town Girls Win, Boys Lose; St. A JV Beats Charleston

Teutopolis High School hosted Hillsboro at Cardinal Golf Course and split victories Thursday.

In girls action, the Wooden Shoes were a 201-231 winner. Medalists were T-town's Wortman and Helmink with a 46 each. Also scoring were M. Koester with a 52 and J. Deters with a 57. Non-counting score was Wente with a 62. T-town improved to 1-2.

Hillsboro's scoring came from A. Frailey 49, Joco 51, S. Frailey 64 and Granito 67.

In the boys contest, Hillsboro was a 173-192 winner.

Scoring for the Hiltoppers were Haggard 42, Sail 42, Vogel 43 and Lyrela 46. Non-counting scores were Thacker 47, Loskot 55 and Titsworth 62.

Scoring for the Wooden Shoes were Gabe Schlink 46, Adam Lustig 48, Hayden Jansen 49 and Bennet Thompson 49.

Non-counting scores were Brody Thoele 50, Ethan Thoele 52, Kole Ohnesorge 54, Mick Niebrugge 54, Noah Koester 56, Peyton Tegler 58, Colin Habing 59 and Kayden Zerrusen 61.

 

At Charleston

Effingham St. Anthony nabbed a junior varsity boys win over the Trojans at Charleston Country Club Thursday.

The Bulldogs tallied a 177 with Ryan Schmidt scoring a 41, Ethan Karolewicz 43, Michael Martelli 44 and Aidan Tegler 49. Non-counting was Patrick Ciorna with a 58.

A Charleston golfer was medalist with a 39.
