EIU Panther Club Golf Outings Scheduled

CHARLESTON -- Dates have been set for the Eastern illinois Panther Club Golf Outings for the summer and early fall of 2013. This year the EIU Panther Club will host five golf outings with proceeds from the events going to support EIU student-athletes.

The first golf outing will be the 9th annual Chicago-EIU Golf Classic at White Eagle Golf Club in Naperville Tuesday, May 28. The cost is $150 per person or $600 for a foursome.

The 13th annual Bill Glenn Golf Outing at Piper Glen Golf Club in Springfield will be Monday, June 24. The cost is $100 per person or $75 for a foursome.

The EIU-Players Championship at Lake of the Woods Golf Club in Mahomet will be Friday, July 19. The cost is $80 per person or $320 for a foursome.

The Athletic Director's Cup at Mattoon Country Club in Mattoon will be Friday, August 16. The cost is $80 per person or $320 for a foursome.

The final golf outing of the season will be the Panther Scholarship Scramble at Charleston Country Club in Charleston Friday, September 13. The cost is $80 per person or $320 for a foursome.

Each golf outing includes lunch, cart, greens fees, on course beverages-snacks, favors and dinner. A dinner only option also is available at each golf outing. To register, phone 217-581-2310. Online registration for each outing will be available at www.eiupantherclub.com.
