It was announced Wednesday that golf's Ryder Cup, which was tp be played in September in Wisconsin, is being postponed to September 2021 because of the coronavirus pandemic, in large part because it wouldn't be able to be played in front of fans.

The men's tournament has teams from the U.S. and Europe compete against each other. Additionally, the Presidents Cup, a men's tournament in which a team from the U.S. and an International Team compete, was pushed back from September 2021 in North Carolina to September 2022.
