U.S. golfer Dustin Johnson won't be competing in the Tokyo Olympics this summer, with his manager saying Monday he’s decided to focus instead on the Fedex Cup playoffs, which will begin less than a week after the end of the Olympics.

Johnson, who is ranked Number 5 in the world, would have been third among U.S. players behind Brooks Koepka, ranked third in the world, and Justin Thomas, who’s fourth.
