Bulldog Girls Win, Golf Roundup

TUSCOLA -- Effingham St. Anthony competed at the Ironhorse Golf Course in Tuscola in both boys and girls competition Thursday.
The Bulldogs won the girls match over Tuscola, 168-205. St. Anthony's Macy Ludwig was medalist with a 37. Also scoring for the Bulldogs were Reagan Westendorf 40, Cara Hakman 45 and Maddie Brummer 46. Non-counter was Jessica Coffin 56.
The St. Anthony boys had only three players competing and did not have a team score.
Tuscola won over Salt Fork, 196-205. Villa Grove did not have enough players for a team score, but took medalist honors as Zach Buessing finished with a 36.
St. Anthony's Darin Hutchison was second with a 43. Also playing was Aidan Tegeler with a 48.

Charleston claimed a victory in girls action over Teutopolis and Paris Thursday.
The Trojans scored 199 followed by T-town 246. Paris did not have enough for a team score.
Scoring for the Wooden Shoes were Averie Bushue 52, Alaina Helmink 64, Maggie Koester 654 and Abigail Wortman 65. Non-counting score was Mollie Koester 68.
