Shane Lowry won the British Open for his first career major title.
Lowry finished six strokes ahead of Tommy Fleetwood, with Tony Finau eight shots back. J.B. Holmes, who was tied with Lowry for the lead after 36 holes, finished in a tie for 67th place after shooting 16-over Sunday.
