Annual CSS Golf Tourney Renamed Josh Wood Memorial

This July would mark the 27th Annual Community Support Systems Charity Golf Tournament; however, tournament organizers have chosen to rename the event the Community Support Systems’ Josh Wood Memorial Golf Classic in honor of longtime friend and participant, Josh Wood, who passed away on March 30, 2019.

Josh was the face of the annual charity tournament having attended the event since its inception. Wood was the tournament’s Goodwill Ambassador who never missed an opportunity to welcome golfers and extend his appreciation for their continued support of CSS.  Josh’s family has also been instrumental in the history of the tournament as Josh’s parents, Sue and the late Lloyd Wood, have served on the golf committee for many years.  The family involvement did not stop with Josh’s immediate family as Josh’s grandparents, aunts and uncles have all played key roles in support of the event.
