Veterans Day Golf Outing Raises $1,755

The 12th Annual Veterans Day Golf Outing was held at the Cardinal Golf Course in Effingham Sunday.

Forty-five golfers competed and $1,755 was raised for the Effingham County Veterans Memorial and the American Legion Honor Guard. bringing the total raised to date to $16,400.

The winning team consisted of Pete Goeckner, Adam Goeckner and Ryan Wei.  Second place went to Rick Brockett, Jim Tull, Les Rodgers and Joe Friemuth.
