St. Anthony Wins Robinson Boys Golf Invitational

ROBINSON -- Effingham St. Anthony High School had two teams competing at the Robinson Boys Golf Invitational Monday and Team No. 1 took the top spot while Team No. 3 was third.

The Bulldogs won the invitational with a 305 score followed by Lawrenceville 327, St. Anthony No. 2 331, Olney 348, Mount Carmel 378, Robinson 393, Marshall 413 and Oblong 431.

The top finishers in the meet were St. Anthony's Luke Ludwig, medalist, with a 35-36 -- 71, Dylan Ferguson second with a 34-39 -- 73 and Zach Wortman third with a 38-39 -- 77.

Ludwig and Wortman were on the No. 1 Bulldog team along with Nathan Schultz 40-38 -- 78, Ben Strullmyer 39-40 -- 79, Luke Flaig 39-40 -- 79 and Jayden Rios 40-40 -- 80.

Ferguson was on the No. 2 St. Anthony team along with Thomas Chojnicki 45-37 -- 82, Ryan Schultz 47-38 -- 85, Alex Erickson 46-45 -- 91 and Darin Hutchison 49-47 -- 96.
