Talk about one for the highlight reel.

St. Anthony High School senior-to-be Luke Ludwig Monday recorded a hole-in-one in opening round play in the US Junior Amateur Golf Tournament. Playing at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey, Ludwig scored his ace on the 176-yard par 3 15th hole. It's just the 15th hole-in-one in USJA history.

Ludwig finished his round with a +6 77. He qualified for the national competition at St. Clair Country Club in Belleville where he shot a three-under-68 and was one of just two of the 55 golfers at the qualifier to advance to the National Tournament.

There are 150 players in the field at the US Junior Amateur, which will run through July 21.

Ludwig finished with a +13 at the tourney and the projected cut is +7.
