Isi Gabsa Claims Forysth Golf Classic

DECATUR -- Isi Gabsa claimed the championship of the Symetra Tour Forsyth Golf Classic at Hickory Point Golf Club during the weekend.

Gabsa shot a 68-65-70 for a 203 total during the three-day event. The victory was her first tour win. Gabsa defeated Jillian Hollis with a birdie on the fourth playoff hole.The pair had finished tied for the title with a 13-under-par after 18 holes.

Also competing in the event was Jaclyn Jansen, an Effingham St. Anthony High School graduate. Jansen failed to make the cut for the final with a 72-75 -- 147 total.
