Effingham St. Anthony claimed a girls golf meet over Effingham and Mattoon in a triangular Thursday.
The Bulldogs tallied 188 followed by Effingham 198 and Mattoon 211. Leading St. Anthony were Ava Wegman with a 46, Clare McHugh and Macy Ludwig with a 47 each and Jessica Coffin with a 48.
Scoring for the Hearts were Kennedy Collier 44, Keira Hirtzel 50, Abbi Burgess 52 and Ava Boehm 52. Non-counters were Lindsey Stephenson 54 and Morgan Krouse 57.
Scoring for Mattoon were Kira Wolf 35 for medalist honors, Kallon Halderson 55, Sydney Allee 58 and Haleigh Miller 63. Non-counters were Katherine Carter-Alvis 67 and Natalie Kuntis 69.
In the boys meet at Mattoon's Meadowview, St. Anthony won 180-198 over the Green Wave.
Scoring for the Bulldogs were Luke Flaig with a 43, Ryan Schultz with a 44, Ethan Rozene with a 46 and Alex Erickson with a 47. Non-counting scores were Darin Hutchison with a 49 and Jake Utz 64.
Scoring for Mattoon were Curtis 46, Shanandin 48, Coleman 49 and Ramage 55. Non-counters were Fogerty 57 and Pullen 62.
At Effingham
Effingham and Casey-Westfield played to a 171-171 tie in boys action Thursday.
Effingham's Tate Niebrugge was medalist with a 39. Also scoring were Jacob Sigg 41, Aiden Beck 44 and Ryan Sandifer 47. Non-counters were Brett Koester 48 and Colby Heaton 56.
Scoring for Casey-Westfield were Husinga 41, Rodgers 42, Austin 43 and Oakley 45. Non-counters were Rodriguez 46 and Hickock 46.
The Hearts are 7-4 on the season while Casey-Westfield is 15-14.
At Wndsor
Teutopolis won a boys triangular meet at Fox Prairie Golf Course.
The Wooden Shoes scored 171 followed by Shelbyville 198 and Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg 202.
Scoring for Teutopolis were Dylan Buenker with a 39 for medalist honors, Will Schlink 43, Michael Deters 44 and Carter Jansen 45.
At Ramsey
Altamont captured a victory over Ramsey in golf competition Thursday, 160-179.
Medalist was Altamont's Noah Kopplin with a 37. Also scoring for the Indians were Harrison Fitzjarrald 38, Grant Schmidt 41 and Nathan Hill 44. Non-counters were Addi Smith 47 and Austin Wendling 49.
Scoring for Ramsey were Earnest 38, Grigoroff 40, Neisler 48 and Sneddon 53. Non-counter was Lay 60.
Altamont is now 7-7 on the season.
