Shoes Third, Altamont Drops Golf Match

PANA -- The Teutopolis High School girls golf squad placed third out of four teams in a match at Oak Terrace Golf Course Monday.

Williamsville placed first with a team score of 189 followed by Greenville 204, Teutopolis 211 and Pana 213.

Scoring for the Wooden Shoes were Mattie Thoele with a 46 while Macy Vogt had a 52, Madison Magee a 53 and Allie Niebrugge a 55. Maddie Hoene scored a 56, Averie Bushue a 57, Allison Will a 59 and Maggie Koester a 61.

 

At Altamont

Altamont played host to Sullivan and Arcola Monday. Sullivan tallied 166 while the Indians had a 194. Arcola had only three golfers.

Medalist was Arcola's Caden Ellis.

Scoring for Altamont were Grant Schmidt 43, Nathan Hill 48, Harrison 51 and Austin Wendling 52.

Scoring for Sullivan were Caden Ellis 38, Leighton Burcham 41, Aiden Short 43 and Layton Ellis 44. Non-counters were Tim Lawyer 44 and Drew Rogers 47.

Competing for Arcola were Dallas Sisk 43, Jacob Butler 46 and Derek Tuttle 60.

Altamont's Addie Smith had a 48.

Sullivan's Addison Darush had a 49, Esther Miller a 51, Iris Dulin 54 and Alexis Britton 56. Non-counter was Miriah Booker 61.
