Jordan Niebrugge Playing In Lincolnland Charity Championship In Springfield

Jordan Niebrugge, who has grandparents and relatives in Teutopolis, will be competing in the Lincolnland Charity Golf Championship beginning Thursday in Springfield.

Niebrugge is coming off a 35th place finish in the U.S. Open and will be teeing off at 9 a.m. Thursday in Round 1. The event will continue Friday, Saturday and finish out Sunday. Tee times are 7-9:10 a.m. and 1-3:10 p.m. Thursday, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1-3:10 p.m. Friday in Round 2 and 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday in Rounds 3 and 4. The course opens to spectators one hour before first tee times.

Practice rounds are being played Tuesday and Wednesday.

The championship will be held at the Panther Creek Club which is located on the southwest side of Springfield.
