Effingham Competes In John Macek Golf Invitational

Effingham High School's girls golf squad competed in the John Macek Invitational Saturday at the University of Illinois Blue Course.

Winnetka New Trier won the invite with a 307 total followed by Prospect 310, Sacred Heart-Griffin 331, Glenbrook North 334, Kankakee McNamara 357, Mattoon 375, Bloomington 390, Lincoln 390, Normal Community 391, Belleville West 412, Normal West 424, Charleston 430, Champaign Centennial 432, Effingham 445 and Champaign Central 446.

Scoring for Effingham were Morgan Wilson 100, Courtney White 106, Hope Collier 115 and Delanie Hagenseiker 124.

Noreen Caporusso of Prospect was medalist with a 75 total.
