Hearts Drop Match, Shoes Claim Victory

MATTOON -- Mattoon handed Effingham a 192-226 loss at Meadowview Golf Course Thursday.

Kaley Conlin and Katie Holsapple were co-medalists for Mattoon with a 47 each. Also scoring were Lauren Spain 48 and Meghan McCain with a 50. Non-scorers were Taylor Beason 52 and Whitney Meeker 54.

Scoring for the Hearts were Morgan Wilson 52, Courtney White 53, Hope Collier 57 and  Delanie Hagenseiker 64. EHS is now 5-8 on the season.

At Effingham Country Club

Teutopolis played host to Pana and picked up a 205-225 victory to even its record at 9-9.

Holly Dust picked up medalist honors for the Wooden Shoes with a 46. Also scoring were Celeste Deters 51, Laura Wente 54 and Ellie Ruholl 54. Non-scorers were Leah Kremer 58, Haley Giles 58, Katie Thoiele 62 and Lea Thoele 64.

Scoring for Pana were Hannah Miller 47, Emily Hackler 58, Hannah Michael 60 and Miranda Foster 60. Non-scorers were Alysa Oary 63 and Rebecca Miller 64.
