Wooden Shoes Wins Boys Golf Triangular, Girls Golf Roundup

Teutopolis High School claimed a boys golf triangular Monday evening at Cardinal Golf Course.
The Wooden Shoes tallied a 179 followed by Altamont 190 and Windsor/Stewardson-Strasburg 228. The win gives T-town an 8-5 record. Altamont drops to 8-3.
Medalist was Neoga's Luke Baker with a 38.
Scoring for T-town were Christian Deters 42, Keegan Meyer 44, Dylan Buenker 46 and Braden Bushue 47. Non-counting was Mat Weber 48 and Carter Jansen 56.
Altamont was led by Adam Mayhaus with a 44. Also scoring were Dylan Miller 47, Noah Kopplin 48 and Cameron Jackman 51. Non-counting were Logan Deadmond 51 and Grant Schmidt 51. Junior varsity scores for Altamont were Luke Behl 53 and Austin Wendling 65.
Scoring for Windsor/Stew-Stras were Tristan Warner 49, Logan Stremming 56, Logan Greuel 60 and Luke Glbert 61. Non-counting were Zach Van Hyffe 62 and Sterling Howard 62.
At Mattoon
Salem came calling and picked up a girls triangular meet victory. The Wildcats tallied 194 followed by Mattoon 228 and Teutopolis 230.
Scoring for T-town were Katie Thoele 53, Madison Magee 58, Allie Niebrugge 58 and Maddie Hoene 61.
Medalist was Salem's Megan Gallatin with a 43.
