St. Anthony Girls Squad Downs Mattoon

MATTOON -- The Effingham St. Anthony girls golf squad moved its record to a perfect 11-0 on the season by downing Mattoon 183-200 Monday at Meadowview Golf Course.

The Bulldogs nabbed the top three individual spots in the outing as Miranda Rohlfing was medalist with a 41 followed by Emmie Schultz 45 and Mariah Bushue 48. Madison Bushue took sixth with a 49 to round out the Bulldogs scoring.

Mattoon's Kalie Conlin was fourth with a 48 and Lauren Spain fifth with a 48. Also scoring were Megan McCain with a 50 and Taylor Beason with a 54.

The Bulldogs are back in action Friday taking on Teutopolis at the Effingham Country Club.
