Shoes Win Girls, Boys Golf Matches, Indians Second In Triangular

SULLIVAN -- Teutopolis High School picked up a girls golf match over Sullivan Thursday.

The Shoes' Katie Thoele tallied a 54 while Maddie Hoene had a 56, Madison Magee a 57 and Allie Niebrugge a 58. Sullivan's Brooke Tuttle was medalist with a 50.

Sullivan had only three members. T-town shot a team total 225.

The Teutopolis boys squad edged Sullivan 173-177, also at the Sullivan Country Club.

Christian Deters was medalist for the Shoes with a 38. Also scoring were Keegan Meyer 44, Braydan Bushue 45 and Mat Weber 46. Non-counters were Austin Weber 48 and Will Schlink 60.

Sullivan was led by Caden Ellis 41, Adam White 44, Eric Keller 45 and Tom Schibur 47. Non-counting scores were Kaleb Shumard 47 and Joey Davison 48.

 

At Tuscola

Mount Zion won a triangular golf meet to remain unbeaten at 4-0 on the season. The Braves tallied 167 followed by Altamont 179 and Tuscola 181.

Mount Zion's Ben Cleveland was medalist with a 34. Scoring for Altamont were Dylan Miller 41, Adam Mayhaus 43, Cameron Jackman 47 and Grant Schmidt 48.

The Indians are now 5-2 on the season.
