Effingham St. Anthony High School's boys golf squad remained undefeated in matches by beating Robinson Monday. The Bulldogs shot a 155 to beat Robinson by 16 strokes.

"Garrett Hixenbaugh really stepped up today, shooting a one-over-par 37 to lead us," said St. Anthony Coach Phil Zaccari. "He has really been playing well recently. We still msised too many makeable putts though. Quail Creek is not easy if you have never played it before so Garrett did great today.

"We also had steady performances from Joe, Jack and Cole to win. This could possibly be our regional course so any chance we could play it, we want to. Tomorrow night is our Senior Night at home against St. Thomas More and we want to play well then."

Hixenbaugh led the Bulldogs charge with a 37 followed by Joe Powell and Jack Niebrugge, each with a 39 and Cole Buehnerkemper with a 40. Non-scorers were Sam Wortman 42, Connor Green 42, Dalton Anderson 45 and Nick Wortman 47.

Robinson was led by Tom Goodman 40, Tyler Wright 42, Alex Brown 43 and Tristan Murphy 46. Non-scorers were James Gibson 48, Zach Beard 59, Connor Weber 59 and Jeff Darnold 64.

The Bulldogs play host to Champaign St. Thomas More today at 4:30 p.m.

At Windsor

Teutopolis picked up a triangular meet win over Windsor and Altamont at Angus Links Monday.

Teutopolis tallied a 176 followed by Altamont 186. Windsor did not have enough golfers for a team score.

Medalists were T-town's Sheehan and Altamont's Mayhaus with a 42 each.
