Newton Third, T-town Fourth

OLNEY -- Olney High School captured the championship of its own boys golf invitational tournament Saturday.

The Tigers tallied 326 strokes followed by Carmi 339, Newton 356, Teutopolis 357, Fairfield 367, Lawrenceville 369 and Flora 393. Medalist was Fairfield's Blake Davis with a 79.

Scoring for Newton were Evan Brooks 80, Phil Blank 89, Chris Brody 91 and Elijah Knepper 96. Non-scorers were Brandon Bigard 107 and Anthony Fuesting 107. Brooks finished in third place.

Scoring for T-town were Ross Sheehan 84, Justin Kowalski 89, Ryan Sandschafer 91 and Evan Schlink 93. Non-scorers were Chad Zerrusen 95 and Karson Pruemer 97. Sheehan finished in eighth place.
