Pride of North Side Golf Camp Set

The Pride of the North Side boys and girls beginning to intermedaite golf camp has been scheduled for May 26-29 and June 1-4.

Session I is for boys in grades 3-9 Tuesday, May 26 through Friday, May 29 from 9 a.m. to noon. The camp will be held at Fore-Way Golf Course, 16041 N. 1000th Street, Effingham. Players need to have their own golf clubs and wear proper golf attire.

The camp will emphasize beginning to intermediate golf instruction including session on the full swing, chipping, and putting. There also will be sessions covering the rules of golf and proper golf etiquette.

Tuition is $55 per camper. This includes range balls for the week as well as green fees for the course. Throughout the week there will be various competitions in putting and chipping as well as a camp tournament the final day. The camp staff will consist of Coach Zaccari, the Fore-Way Golf staff and current and possibly past St. Anthony High School players.

Water will be available for the golfers as well as the Fore-Way Golf Course Club House will have drinks and snacks for sale. All campers will receive a T-shirt. There also will be drawings for door prizes.

I hereby authorize the staff of Phil Zaccari's Golf Camp to act for me according to their best judgment in any emergency that requires medical attention and I hereby waive and release Coach Phil Zaccari, camp coaches and St. Anthony Parish from any and all liability for any injuries or illness that may occur while at camp. I have insurance that will cover such injuries or illness that could occur while at camp.
