Effingham High School claimed a 154-191 win over Vandalia at the Effingham Country Club Tuesday evening.
Effingham's Jackson Wendling and Anthony Lechman both carded a one-over-par 37 to share medalist honors. Also scoring for the Hearts were Jake Linders 39 and Anthony Barrett 41.
"It was another solid effort tonight," said EHS Coach Jeff Schafer. "Jackson and Anthony Lechman continued their brilliant play. Jake and Anthony Barrett rounded out our scoring. We have a tough match Thursday against Charleston."
The Hearts are now 4-0 on the season.

At Shelbyville
Effingham St. Anthony's junior varsity squad finished second in a triangular meet against Shelbyville and Okaw Valley at The National at Eagle Creek Tuesday.
Shelbyville won the meet with a 173 followed by St. Anthony JV 183 and Okaw Valley 206. In a B match, Shelbyville won with a 149 followed by Okaw Valley 162 and St. Anthony 171.
Medalist in the match was St. Anthony's Nick Wortman with a 37. Also scoring were Sam Wortman 42, Kyle Britton 43 and Nick Behl 48.
St. Anthony is back in action Thursday at Nokomis.
