Effingham High School opened the regular portion of its boys golf season with a quadrangular victory at Meadowview Golf Course Wednesdsay.

"This was as good start to our regular season," said EHS Coach Jeff Schafer. "Anthony Lechman and Jackson Wendling finshed first and second with 34 and 36. Anthony played an awesome nine holes and really could have gone lower. Anthony Barrett and Jake Linders added two more solid scores for a good 151 total. This gave us a look at Meadowview for our upcoming tournament."
