EHS, St. Anthony Girls Claim Golf Victories

WINDSOR -- Effingham High School captured the Windsor Girls Golf Invitational Saturday with a 374 score followed by Effingham St. Anthony 384, Okaw Valley 423 and Teutopolis 431.
Okaw Valley's Paige Harlin was medalist with a 75. Effingham's Morgan Wilson took second with an 83. Also competing for the Hearts were Kaylee Tonn 94, Hope Collier 97, Alex Brummer 100, Madison Wes 114 and Camryn Heuerman 173.
Competing for St. Anthony were Abbie Schmidt 91, Madison Bushue 96, Mariah Bushue 98, Kyla Burton 99 and McKenna Steinman 154.
T-town's scores were Casey Willenborg 91, E. Ruholl 107, K. Thoele 114 and Madison Magee 119.
Scoring for Okaw Valley were P. Harlin 75, G. Harlin 112, N. Jeffers 103 and K. Forsyth 133.
Iin a triangular Friday, St. Anthony won with a 188 total followed by Pana 204 and Raymond Lincolnwood 226.
Hannah Miller of Pana was medalist with a 42. St. Anthony's Madison Bushue and Raymond Lincolnwood's Abby Brockmeyer both shot a 45 for second place.
Also scoring for the Bulldogs were Mariah Bushue 46, Kyla Burton 46 and Abbie Schmidt 51. Scoring for Pana were Miller 42, Olivia Kamer 53, Miranda Foster 54 and Teagan Strom 55.
Scoring for Raymond Lincolnwood were Brockmeyer 45, Callie Kroger 58, Shelby Pinikston 59 and Emiliy Wagahoff 69.
