Rose Captures Quicken Loans National

(Bethesda, MD) -- Justin Rose made a par on the first playoff hole to defeat Shawn Stefani and win the Quicken Loans National at Congressional Country Club.  Each player finished at four-under-par for the tournament. Charley Hoffman and Ben Martin shared third place at three-under, while Andres Romero, Brendan Steele and Brendon Todd tied for fifth at two-under for the week.

Tiger Woods started in his first PGA event since back surgery in late March, but he failed to make the cut.  He was at seven-over-par and failed to make the weekend by four shots. It was just the 10th time in his career that he missed a 36-hole cut on the PGA Tour.
