Rams To Hire Back Gregg Williams As DC

(St. Louis, MO) -- The St. Louis Rams are bringing back a controversial figure to replace fired defensive coordinator Tim Walton. The "St. Louis Post-Dispatch" reports the Rams are expected to name Gregg Williams as their new DC. Williams was hired by St. Louis two years ago, but never coached a down because he was suspended by the NFL for his role in the New Orleans Saints' bounty scandal. After missing a whole season due to suspension, Williams spent last year with the Tennessee Titans as a defensive consultant.
