Bears Get Selected To Pro Bowl Teams
(Kapolei, HI) -- The Pro Bowl Draft is underway from Hawaii. Bears guard Kyle Long will play for "Team Sanders" after Deion Sanders selected him last night. Chicago's Matt Forte, Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffery and Tim Jennings will be picked by Team Sanders or Jerry Rice's "Team Rice" tonight.
Pasqualoni Set To Join Bears
(Mobile, AL) -- The Bears are set to add longtime college coach Paul Pasqualoni to their staff. The "Chicago Tribune" reports that it's not yet known whether Pasqualoni will coach linebackers or the defensive line. The 64-year-old has six years of NFL coaching experience.
Tavon Austin Poses With "L.A. Rams" Group
(Carson, CA) -- Rookie receiver Tavon Austin is some hot water with some Rams fans in St. Louis. While at the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl in Carson, California this weekend, Austin posted a photo to his Instagram of him posing with a group that wants to move the team back to L.A. The Rams have an opportunity to break their lease at the Edward Jones Dome after next season. It's not clear if Austin was showing support for the move or just posing with a group of fans.
Rams Punter Selected In Pro Bowl Draft
(Kapolei, HI) -- Rams punter Johnny Hekker was chosen by NFL Hall-of-Famer Jerry Rice for his team on Tuesday. It was the first day of the Pro Bowl draft. Sixty more players will be selected tonight. The NFL's annual all-star game is Sunday at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu.
