EHS Football Award Winners Announced

Effingham High School varsity football award winners were, left to right, Brian Westendorf (Lineman of the Year), AJ Lybarger (Jack Klosterman Hang Tough Award), Jaxon Bridges (Most Improved), Logan Jones (George Wenthe Sportsmanship Award), Weldon Dunston (Offensive Most Valuable Player), Michael Love (Defensive Most Valuable Player), Max Flack (Most Improved) and Rylan Pals (Lineman of the Year).
Effingham High School captains were, left to right, Colton Webb, Logan Jones, Weldon Dunston IV, Kayden Mietzner and Michael Love. Not present was Seaton Hall.) Dunston was named to the Class 4A Academic All-State Team while Love was named Honorable Mention IHSFCA 4A All-State Team.
Effingham High School freshman/sophomore award winners were, left to right, Mason Bushur (Sophomore Bandit award), Jack Hartman (Sophomree Hustle award), Briar Koester (Little Big Man award), Ian Kinkelaar (Little Big Man award), Hank Nelson (Freshman Bandit award) and Max Love (Freshman Hustle award).
