IHSA Releases 2023 High School Football Schedules

The Illinois High School Association has released the composite football schedules for the 2023 high school football season in Illinois.

Key 2023 IHSA football dates:

* Monday, August 7: Practices Start

* Thursday, August 24: Games may begin

* Saturday, October 21: 256 Playoff qualifiers and brackets revealed on IHSA Playoff Pairing Show

* Fri./Sat., October 27/28: First Round Playoff games

* Fri./Sat., November 3/4: Second Round Playoff games

* Fri./Sat., November 10/11: Quarterfinal Playoff games

* Fri./Sat., November 17/18: Semifinal Playoff games

* Friday, November 24: Class 1A-4A State Championship games at Illinois State University

* Saturday, November 25: Class 5A-8A State Championship games at Illinois State University

September 1 -- Mount Carmel, 7 p.m.

September 8 -- Breese Mater Dei, 7 p.m.

October 6 -- at Mahomet-Seymour, 7 p.m.
