Jones backed the current Cowboys receivers but added that Beckham “is someone we have all the appreciation in the world for what he is as a competitor and know that the Cowboys star on the helmet when he puts it on could look pretty good.”
Beckham has yet to play this season after suffering a torn ACL in 2021. He said the injury occurred well before he helped the Los Angeles Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Super Bowl LVI.
Raiders Waive Johnathan Abram
Former 1st round draft pick, safety Johnathan Abram, was waived by the Las Vegas Raiders on Tuesday.
He didn't make the impact expected of a first-round selection and particularly struggled in pass coverage.
Abram started the first seven games this season before being moved to a reserve role the past two weeks.
