A broken ankle will keep San Francisco 49ers quarterback Trey Lance sidelined for the rest of the season. 

Lance broke his right ankle Sunday, after running the ball on the second drive of a 27-7 win over the Seattle Seahawks. Jimmy Garoppolo relieved Lance and engineered the win.
