Browns Trade For Deshaun Watson

The Cleveland Browns made it official Sunday, announcing they’d traded for quarterback Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans.

Watson’s guaranteed contract is for $230 million over five years, the most guaranteed money at signing of any player in NFL history.

The Browns are facing some backlash for signing Watson despite the sexual misconduct allegations against him. Watson was accused of sexual misconduct by nearly two dozen female massage therapists, who charged he sexually assaulted or harassed them during massages.

A grand jury declined to indict him this month, but he's still facing civil lawsuits by the women, as well as possible suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
