NFL Suspends Jags' Blackmon Four Games

(New York, NY) -- The NFL is suspending Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon for the first four games of the 2013 season without pay. The penalty is for violating the league's substance abuse policy.  Blackmon was the Jags' first-round draft pick last year, the fifth pick overall. He had 64 catches for 865 yards and five touchdowns in his rookie season.

 

Tebow Clears Waivers, Has Offer To Play For Indoor Team

Tim Tebow is now a free agent after clearing waivers Tuesday. The former Jets quarterback never got on track in New York. He was used sparingly at several positions after being acquired from the Broncos last year. Tebow also has a standing offer to play for the Omaha Beef of the Professional Indoor Football League for $75-per-game.
