‘Sports Illustrated’ named Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady its 2021 “Sportsperson of the Year” Tuesday.

It comes after a 2021 in which he won his seventh Super Bowl in February, this time with Tampa Bay in his first season with them after two decades with the New England Patriots.

Continuing in 2021, Brady is leading the NFL this season in passing yards and touchdowns, and is among the favorites to be named the MVP.
