Bucs quarterback Tom Brady threw for 307 yards and two touchdowns, as he avoided having three losses in a row for the first time since 2002. . 

 

Saints' Hill Agrees To Four-Year Contract Extension

The New Orleans Saints’ Taysom Hill agreed to a four-year contract extension, ESPN reported Monday, which has an unusual design.

The report says that if Hill continues in his current role as backup quarterback, running back, wide receiver and tight end, he’ll get $40 million over the four years, but if he becomes the Saints’ starting quarterback over the next four years, the extension could be worth up to $95 million.

 

U.S. Football League UnveilsTeam Names

The United States Football League unveiled its team names Monday ahead of its return to play next spring.

The eight teams will be split evenly in two divisions, and all eight were part of the USFL’s original 1980s run. The north division will have the Michigan Panthers, New Jersey Generals, Philadelphia Stars and Pittsburgh Maulers, and the southern division will have the Birmingham Stallions, Houston Gamblers, New Orleans Breakers and Tampa Bay Bandits. All the teams will play in one location, which has yet to be announced, in a 10-game regular season, followed by semifinals between the top two teams in each division and a championship game.
