EHS Football Players, Cheerleaders Award Winners

EHS varsity special awards went to, left to right, Chris Hemwall, London Rinkel, Chase Kiefer, Armando Estrada, John Westendorf, Noah Jones, Dalton Fox and Cohen Woods. Not pictured Trinity Womack.

Effingham High School football players and cheerleaders were honored at the annual awards ceremony Saturday.

Winning varsity special awards were Dalton Fox (Chris Hutts Bandit award, Defensive Most Valuable Player), Noah Jones (George Wenthe Sportsmanship award), Chris Hemwall, Trinity Womack and London Rinkel (Jack Klosterman Hang Tough award), Cohen Woods (Lineman of the Year), John Westendorf (Offensive Most Valuable Player), Armando Estrada (Special Teams Most Valuable Player) and Chase Kiefer (Most Improved).

Lettermen were Gaige Gillum, Osvaldo Angel, Garrett Wolfe, Noah Jones, Connor Simmons, Keegan Baker, Max Nelson, Caden Walls, Jonathan Koester, Andrew Lotz, Jacob Weaver, Tanner Pontious,  Armando Estrada, Carter Bushue, Myles Maxedon, Damon Kalber, Kaedyn Gillman, London Rinkel, Josue Vergel, Edgar Castillo, Dalton Fox, John Westendorf, Spencer Fox, Chris Hemwall, Evan Waymoth, Jayden Spiker, Maddox Burner, Jacob Foster, Blake Bushue, Brady Stortzum, Riley Crain, Cohen Woods, Chase Kiefer, Trinity Womack, Emma Kessler, KC Kuhlman, Jackson Denton, Dylan Williams, Will Henderson, Logan Heil, Zach Brown, Kobe Coburn, Kayne Haarman, Colton Loy, Hunter Reed, Logan Kessler, Zach Donaldson, Connor Thompson and Charlie Ring.

Football cheerleading awards went to, left to right, Madison Papa, Talia Coburn, and Lilly Flowers  Not pictured was Isabella Harkins-Albin.

Cheerleading awards went to Isabella Harkins-Albin (Most Improved), Lilly Flowers (Outstanding Cheerleader), Madison Papa (Most Spirited) and Talia Coburn (Leadership).

EHS football cheerleaders were Talia Coburn, Haylie Cameron, Isabella Harkins-Albin, Kayla Smith, Madion Papa, MaKenzie Smith, Navalynn Fitch and Lilly Flowers.

EHS freshman/sophomore awards went to, left to right, Josue Vergel, Andrew Lotz, Michael Love, Weldon Dunston and Tyson Seibert.

Effingham High School freshman/sophomore awards went to Michael Love (Freshman Hustle), Andrew Lotz (Sophomore Hustle), Weldon Dunston (Freshman Bandit), Josue Vergel (Sophomore Bandit) and Tyson Seibert (Freshman Little Big Man).

Earning All-Apollo recognition were, left to right, Cohen Woods, John Westendorf, Armando Estrada, Dalton Fox and Logan Heil.
