Effingham High School senior Tristin Duncan Monday signed a letter of intent to play college football for Truman State University.
Duncan, a record-setting receiver for the football Hearts, was asked to reflect on his comeback from a car crash last fall. He was delivering pizza on a rainy night in October when he lost control of his car. The vehicle slammed into a truck. While there were no broken bones, Duncan had to deal with brain bleeds. However, he made a full recovery and played all of the past season.
