Nathan Vail Signs With Millikin

DECATUR, Ill.— Nathan Vail of Effingham has indicated he plans to attend Millikin University and play football for Big Blue Head Coach Patrick Etherton.
“We are excited that Nathan has decided to continue his career in academics and athletics at Millikin University,” said Etherton.
Vail was a two year letter winner in football at Effingham High School where he played quarterback. As a senior, Vail was team captain and won his team’s Hustle Award. Vail passed for 1,028 yards on 69-180 passing with eight touchdowns. He rushed for 409 yards and three touchdowns.
An Honor Roll student, Vail is a member of the National Honor Society and was a United States National Honor Student award winner. Nathan is the son of Jeffrey and Melissa Vail.
Etherton is looking for several talented recruits to join Millikin’s solid group of returning players. Entering his third season, Etherton is determined to return Millikin to its winning tradition and bring excitement to Big Blue football.
