No Football Friday Night for Effingham This Week

It's now official; there will be no Football Friday Night for the Effingham Hearts this week.
Cases of COVID-19 at Taylorville has led to the cancelation of Friday's game between Effingham and the Tornadoes.
Effingham Unit 40 Activity Director David Woltman said, "We were unable to find a suitable opponent to replace Taylorville for Friday's contest. I am still working to find an opponent for Monday night's fresh/soph football game at Taylorville but, at this time, no school has indicated being open for a game on April 12."
That means the next varsity football game for Effingham will be at home on April 16, as the Hearts will host Mt. Zion.
