M/S Downs EHS In Frosh/Soph Football

M-S took an 8-6 opening quarter lead. Effingham's score came from Garrett Wolfe pulling in a 13 yard Gaige Gillum pass.

Mahomet-Seymour led 16-12 at halftime. The Hearts again scored as Conner Simmons found Wolfe on a 37 yard pass.

That ended the scoring for EHS while Mahomet-Seymour tallied again in the third quarter.

John Westendorf led the Hearts in rushing with 10 for 41 yards. Wolfe pulled in three passes for 76 yards and a touchdown. Gillum had five passes for 65 yards, 1 touchdown and two interceptions.

Defensively, Evan Waymoth had 10 tackles. Wolfe had one interception for 18 yards. Wolfe also had four kickoff returns to 59 yards.
