Ready or Not, It's Week 1 of the High School Football Season

The last time we saw the Effingham Hearts on the football field, they suffered a heartbreaking loss in the semifinals of the state tournament. 

That's been a long time, the fall of 2019 to be precise. Now, after all of those months and not a lot of practice time, it's time to begin a six-week season.

The Hearts will travel to Mahomet-Seymour High School Friday night to take on the Bulldogs. Kickoff will be at 7pm, and you'll be able to hear the game on 979XFM and www.979xfm.com.
