Diggs pulled in nine Allen passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns as the Bills trounced the Patriots, 38-9. Allen hit 27 of 36 passes for 320 yards. Zach Moss had 12 receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown while Lee Smith pulled in two for 31 yards and a touchdown.
The Bills broke a 3-3 opening quarter tie with a 21 point second quarter and the defense held the Patriots to no points in the second half.
Quarterback Cam Newton had New England's only score on four carries for 24 yards. He hit five of 10 passes for 34 yards. Jarrett Stidham was four of 11 for 44 yards.
Buffalo is now the No. 2 seed in the AFC playoffs while New England suffered its first losing season since 2000.
